Teresa Pokalsky BrowndorfTeresa Pokalsky Browndorf is a multi-talented musician and educator from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Originally from Pennsylvania, she joined the United States Marine music program after graduating from Duquesne University where she majored on both flute and cello studying with members of the Pittsburgh Symphony. While in the Marines, Teresa was an instructor at the Naval School of Music in Norfolk, VA and retired after 20 years as a Bandmaster. She also has a Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting from Catholic University of America, where she had studied with many prominent Wind Ensemble Conductors such as Frank Battisti, Robert Garofalo, Larry Rachleff, and Eugene Corporon. Teresa is currently the instrumental music director at Catholic High School in Virginia Beach. She also performs with various ensembles throughout the country on various instruments.
